Do you have a masters degree in child development or similar degree?  That is when you can say professional.  A high school diploma and work experience is very different.  So, what is the true difference?  Nanny is full time child care provider and babysitter is sporadic or part-time.[/quote]

I personally have a bachelors degree and experience working in both Elementary and High School. I am a professional in my field bc this is my paid occupation rather than a pastime. I am also competent and skilled in this profession. However, your original argument wasn’t what made someone a professional. You argued, and are still trying to argue the difference between a nanny and a sitter. Explain why you think nannies can’t be part time? And then explain why you think nannies and sitters are uneducated. Idk what world you live in but you don’t need a masters or bachelors to say you are professional as that is not the definition of professional. If that is your case pls go explain that to Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerburg, Steve Jobs, etc.

A nanny is a skilled professional with experience who provides care within your home. A sitter is someone who provides care without much experience. I would agree that their care is usually sporadic however, many ppl use that for full time care as they are cheaper bc their experience is more limited than a nanny. [/quote]
