1. Each family has a one rate. I’d suggest $14/hour per family, and making sure they understand that it’s five days per week. In exchange, you’re able to pick up a sick or misbehaving child, do snow days and school closures with both children. If they’re not willing to pay the two child rate, then they need to find other care. 2. The last 5 hours of the week are overtime. Doesn’t matter if it’s one family or two, one child or four. 3. Each family guarantees their normal 45 hours plus applicable overtime every week. 4. Two weeks of vacation, one at their choice (Christmas week, put it in the contract). 5. 3-5 days PTO/sick. Use one for black Friday, and put it into the contract. 6. Legal pay. That means ss/fica withheld/matched and an end-of-year w2. Not cash, no 1099. They do NOT have to withhold federal, state or local taxes, which means that you’d have to do that yourself. 7. If they need 8.30-5.30, that’s what their needs are. You may no longer be a fit due to the hours, and that’s fine. Explain that you need to be off by 5.15 most days. If you’re able to do 5.30 Mondays, tell them. If you can do two days, but don’t have specific ones, let them know. If you and they can’t work it out, you all move on.
The reason why the hours change is because they only had one set of car seats instead of the fathers having their own sub car seats but we work it out so I can get off at 5:15 all cars need to have reliable car seats for kids anyway shouldn't be one parent who's doing pickup that's dumb regardless to what their names are they don't want to find another Nanny because I've been with set kids since they were 3 months old and now they're going on three years so pretty much everything I've complained about they conform to because it didn't make sense and they want me to be with their newborns just as long as I've been with the older children
What are they paying you?
