I’ve had several families that insisted that they be able to see my activity while with their kids. I explain that if they provide a work phone, they can check it anytime they want, and whether I leave it with them at the end of my shift or take it with me, I would still only be using it during work hours. I further explain that I’m happy to leave my personal phone elsewhere during my shift, but that I expect them to conduct all communications through email or my work phone, during and outside of my shift. Most families opt to drop it and not pay, some pay.[/quote]
