Your au pair is going to leave. You need to figure out now what you're going to do, so that you have some control over the situation even if the outcome is expensive or requires taking a leave of absence from work. You are in the world of special needs parents, at least for a time, when a child's needs will not conform to the limits of your ability to accommodate them, but you still have to somehow accommodate them. It would be great if we lived in a country with more options and more supports for parents, but we don't.
