Has any nanny done this and not burned out? I have one 2.5 yr old charge and an infant. There really is no way I can get even a 20 minute break during the day. I also manage the house (no housework beyond the kids’ laundry). I am very tired at the end of the day and do worry about burn out. I collapse on weekends. I love my job, my employers and my charge’s and am well compensated. Will I get used to this new schedule? I have only been alone with the children since last week.
Sounds like you got spoiled with Mom around on maternity leave and now your actual job begins. Give it a month to get a routine. Summers are always different from the school year. You'll be fine. If you really cannot handle two young kids in your nanny position, please give 2 months notice and find an easier job for you.
