I'll make sure to handle it more properly this time.  Tomorrow morning I'll have a check for you for Bobby's ticket.  And when you pay me back this time I will make sure to give you a receipt, or an email so we have a good paper trail around this.  I feel terribly questioning you if I dropped the ball so we can all make sure that doesn't happen again."

And do that next time.  Don't throw your money around with so little attention to it that you're not sure if or when you were repaid - it just conveys that you don't care about it.[/quote]
