[/quote] If it's not paid like a nanny share, why on earth would a parent ever choose to do this? You can just do a share and have the same 1:2 ratio for far less money. Unless you absolutely must have this nanny and there are no other quality candidates available, I can't imagine paying $20-$22 an hour. You can get a solo nanny for that rate. Child care is priced based on ratios. If you want to be paid a one-child rate, you need to find child care for your own child. If you want the (huge) benefit of bringing your child to work, it is no longer a one-child situation.[/quote]
