The biggest difference between a Nanny and an AP: AP is around on the weekend when I actually notice the mess, and she cleans up without hesitation. If I'm not happy with the cleanup, I repeat my request. For a nanny, I had to clean on the weekend, or wait till Monday, and remember to tell her to do it (and then it is like, wait maybe I drove the car over the weekend, so whose mess is it anyway?) I have not heard a complaint from AP regarding cleaning up HER mess, or even mess after my kids that was created when she was in charge.

You can get Nannies and APs that are neat loving, and will keep your house/cars absolutely clean. Be prepared though to keep it up that way, otherwise they will call you a slob.[/quote]
