Labor laws still apply. I don't know where this issue would fall but the blanket statement of "in her home she can say whatever she wants" is simply not true. You cannot be fired for denying sex or refusing to break the law, etc. Again, I have no clue where OTC medication is on this list but "your house - your rules" is not applicable to a nanny situation or any domestic employee.
