Many of us have jobs where we cannot, whether via internet restrictions or the lack of time/schedule, surf the web or spend time on our phones.  Some people even work in - gasp - rooms where one cannot bring in phones/electronic equipment.  And, some of us also work in courtrooms, where - gasp - phones are not allowed.  I'm trying to imagine a world in which I could relay your message to my bosses and NOT get fired.

shhh, stop telling dcum nannies how real jobs work, they don't want to know this information!!  They want guaranteed hours, vacations, benefits, gas money, free food, generous bonuses, and to be allowed to spend all day on a phone or hanging out in a coffee shop "because stay at home moms do that."[/quote]
