But if you advertised the job with a newborn and a preschooler, at anything above $20/hr, you will be flooded with applicants. So you have lots of flexibility in your rate, just not with your current nanny unfortunately. Maybe there are some other perks you could offer her? Some additional vacation time? Week off between xmas and new years?
