I think it's suspicious that your nanny keeps saying these things OP. It can happen that another parent approaches a nanny regarding employment, but I don't believe it is typical, and certainly not at the frequency your nanny is claiming. (Unless it's one persistent oddball mother.) I think your nanny has an agenda in telling you this. I'd ask her what she said in response, what she thinks of that kind of approach, etc.. But eventually I'd just start trying to shut it down or not respond. "Oh really? Well that must be nice to hear." "Oh? Hmm. Ok, let's figure out what we're doing about school next week."
