I am a special education teacher with aspirations of becoming a weekend nanny in a few years. I need about 5 more years of teaching then it would be wonderful! I could be home during the week/volunteer in my kids school & still work. Every time I see a great weekend nanny job posted I start thinking about how great it will be when I can make the switch
How are you going to be home during the week if you're nannying at someone's house? You realize nannies still have jobs, right? They're in someone else's house. Do you mean you want to be an in home daycare provider? Or a part time nanny? There's no way you'll be home or off at your school volunteering if you're a nanny.
I'm not a nanny- I am a teacher. My post indicated that when I leave teaching, which is a Monday-Friday job, I would like to be a weekend nanny. Leaving a M-F job = being home during the week. Not trying to be snarky, but why is that hard to grasp?
