Or did you say, "Thank you!" assuming that they meant they would pay for it, when apparently what they meant was they would arrange it, but you would pay for it? Again, it sounds like they expected you to provide your own transportation, but then you thought they were treating you to a ride home (which they weren't). I don't know that I would call this "cheap," but I do think that you need to be up front about what happened before you agree to sit for them again. [/quote]
