So to be clear it isn't about the money or being "greedy". Also I won't have any time off between now and then to interview and I will also work overtime the first week mb is home. She would like to shadow our routines Like I said its a two way street. We planned on moving last year and Changed our plans because of the outcome of our negotiation month. We both agreed another year in full. I couldn't have quit on them nor would I have until our next negotiations. It is more the principal of the matter that is troubling not the pay out.
i always thought those sort of things were if the family all of a sudden had to move or just decided on another nanny and the changes were immediate when no notice can be given. but to get notice of over a month and to still be in employ during that time i don't know..... especially if one of the parents lost a job. but if they just decided they don't want to work and one makes enough then it should be paid.
