To the PP who was surprised that she applied to jobs on care.com and didn't get responses.  I would say that it has to do with the volume of applicants a job gets and the fact that so many of them do not fit the job.  I always post the exact times I need someone and people still apply that clearly don't have those times free or who live 30 or 40 minutes away and the job doesn't make sense.  Its not possible to respond to everyone and I only respond to the ones that seem the best fit.  You might just be getting lost in the volume of responses people are getting. [/quote]
