What? I'm a nanny, today is my day off. I've had pictures of charges given to me when positions ended. They might stay out for a year or two, then after that they get replaced by pictures of more current charges, and put in the back of the closet. And these are charges I watched full time for over a year (in most cases for 2-4 years). It's a nice gesture, but ultimately it feels weird to have a picture on display in my home of a child who I haven't seen in two plus years, who I no longer have a relationship with. Yes, I have a special place in my heart for them and I sometimes miss them and certainly think back on our time together fondly, but I don't need a framed picture of them. [/quote]
