Hi, my name is Sheila and I am looking for a permanent (at least 2-3 years) position with AT LEAST 25-30 hours a week, Monday through Friday. I am available between the hours of 8:30am-4:30 p.m. (ideally). I specialize in early childhood development, ages newborn-4 years old, yet I have worked with kids of all ages. I am looking for two way flexibility as I am a single mother with two middle school age children. I am a 46-year-old mother of three, native Washingtonian with 25 years of personal experience and over 13 years of professional experience, working with kids from newborn and up. I enjoy being a part of a child's development, mentally, emotionally, intellectually, cognitively and physically - impacting them positively, as well as teaching and guiding them through creativity, imagination, interactive activities, reading and always with love.

I have a variety of interests. I love reading, art, music, writing, the water/swimming, walking, getting outside and being as active as possible. There is much to do in DC. I am hoping to find the right family to work with.
