If school gets out at 3:15 and is close to the parents' home, when do you start paying the nanny? 3:00? 3:15? Earlier?
If school is let out at 3:15, your nanny is likely there a few minutes before waiting. Unless you want her rolling up to the school at 3:15, trying to find parking, etc. and then potentially not getting to your kids until 3:20-25, start their pay at 3:00. You are already doing it so what's the issue? Are you really feeling cheated paying someone for a whopping MAYBE 10 non-working minutes a day? This is one of those issues where bringing it up is going to cost you a lot of goodwill. I know that if my hours were docked (for no real reason) months/years into my tenure I would no longer be helping out by showing up early/staying late when asked.
