[/quote] The rules are always the same: you have to be actively seeking employment, and you can't put too many restrictions on it (such as, only 3 days a week, 8-4 or something, or, only within a two-block radius of your home). Unemployment is not disability insurance, which is for when you can't work.[/quote] Yeah, the "doctors note" was a bunch of crap.[/quote] Maybe it was because I was on bed rest when I was let go from my job, but I did have to provide a doctors note. Basically I had to prove that I was willing and ABLE to go back to work at that point. [/quote]
