It's ridiculous to pay a nanny market rate when the nanny is getting a huge perk in free childcare. That's just foolish.[/quote]

It is not about "standards", PP, it is about common sense.  Why would anyone pay a full rate for basically half of the childcare?  The MB in your example is "lowering her standards".[/quote]
