If you consider living in a house with a bunch of random guys safe then good for you, but I am an adult and I don't want to share a tiny apartment with another person, this isn't college. If you don't make enough to afford your own place in DC then you shouldn't live here.[/quote]

??? Why do you have to be so critical? Maybe people like living in group housing. I could afford to have my own place, but I prefer to have a roommate because it's nice to have someone to share the bills with, among other reasons. I'm able to put a lot more into savings. And my apartment definitely isn't small. Would I personally want to live in a group house? Probably not. But sharing an apartment with one person is hardly a hardship. [/quote]
