That money is a big deal because I am a student and I pay my own tuition.

I do feel slightly guilty because I am employed. I also worry that I may accept a position ( I am highly sought after) that pays more but I do not like my employers, etc.

If they are paying better leave. Nannies we work for money like everyone.  Even in cooperate world that's how it works.  Of someone pays you better than your current job you can leave with two weeks notice. We don't join a family to make a relationship , we work for better pay or opportunity AND THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY.
