[/quote] While I think it would be misleading in the DC area that something was true of "most" jobs if it wasn't true of any government jobs, the PP's claim that government jobs are not giving raises is patently untrue. Feds got a 1% COL increase this year + the vast majority of feds get at least a step increase (unless they've been working in their current GS level for more than 10 years). [/quote]
