Because I should be their only core person. A nanny is not their mom, she is a helper. I don't think it's healthy letting your kids get attached to another woman for 10 years. When they start accidentally calling her mom it's time to go.[/quote]

I'm sorry that you feel so insecure as a mom. No decent Nanny aims to replace parents. They do, however, aim to be an additional force of love in the lives of their charges. Love is not finite - just because your child(ren) feel love for their Nanny doesn't mean they love you less.[/quote]
