And no, she won't be offended at your offer for cleaning, though she may decline. I would. While I love caring for kids and don't mind doing light chores, I detest deep cleaning. Even my own house and I live alone!! Lol!!

If she decides to decline all offers and seek another position, offer to give an excellent referral for her as well as a letter of recommendation. If you have some time, perhaps you can also assist her in her search. Do you have any friends or co-workers you can network with to help her find a new family?

By the way, I want you to know you sound like an awesome employer. To care so much about your nanny is refreshing. It is obvious to me that her many years and dedication to your children means the world to you and that you appreciate her very much. :)[/quote]
