There is plenty of evidence that the vaccine is at least moderately helpful for all groups, and very helpful for many. There is plenty of evidence that the flu itself is deadly at worst, particularly for newborns and pregnant women. All vaccines carry some risk of harm, but this is a very widely given shot, and we are not hearing about people dropping like flies from it![/quote] Um yeah, that was the whole point of my post.
