Maybe she was a live in and left the employer's number as a contact. Maybe she left it as a daytime contact number. Maybe she is a stalker using anything as an excuse to contact people who fired her and have no desire to talk to her.

Anyone with a high school education should understand there are many reasons people might do the things they do.
