There are jobs that pay a transportation stipend if they suddenly require the employee to travel significantly further than they used to. There are definitely things that nannies can do to make this industry more professional, but that doesn't mean waiving every possible benefit that is unfamiliar to all MBs. All industries have some basic similarities, and they also have unique dynamics. Asking for a transportation stipend is not necessarily unprofessional if done correctly. Being professional lies in your attitude and the manner in which you handle issues. [/quote]
