Please say something. Be kind, but it's better to know. I have no sense of smell and this is my worst fear! I'm very careful about showering and regular deoderant use/etc but I always tell my friends and family I want to know if I or my house stink despite being clean!
Exactly - your friends and family! OP either knows she smells and doesn't care or she doesn't know. If she really doesn't know, is her boss really the best person to tell her? Seriously if it gets bad enough the kids will say something (no filters on toddlers or preschoolers). MB, please don't say anything. I wear an all natural deodorant that wears off by mid-day. I don't mind, the kids don't mind, and if MB and DB have to smell my BO for five minutes before I leave in the evening I don't think that's much of an imposition. Now if you want to talk about your deskmate who not only doesn't wear deodorant but eats tuna fish sandwiches at her desk then douses herself in perfume, we can talk (to HR!) but your nanny is rarely around you. Keep your mouth shut.
