One nanny stole our credit card while we were on vacaton, I caught it when reviewing the bank statements, and and discovered on return  on $600 in charges with her signatures.  She never did admit it, although the items were teen boyscouts stuff, boy scout stuff, shoes, food, and lost of stuff in Arlington.  We renewed her contract to say that we would deduct from her salary $20 a month to start paying off the debit on my credit card.  She said she agreed but wanted to run it by - you guessed it - another male authority figure - her priest.  I said "Are you Sure" - it clearly indicates that you stole from us and that we were giving her a second or third chance.  It did come back from her minister and our lawyer and was signed an happy, except that quit a month later, so we were left with and $600  -  a great deal for he.
