OP, ignore the PP. this is also the "employer issues" section and is totally appropriate here. I think you are seriously overpaying. We have a bigger house (3600 sqft) with a large finished basement and 2, soon to be 3 children, and we pay $115 a week. My mother pays $90 for 3000 sqft.  She only cleans though, no laundry, so for the laundry it makes sense to pay a little more. It usually takes her about 4 hrs though.[/quote]

Because she had a question about having the NANNY do the work of the housekeeper so it pertains to nannies as well.  Just because you don't like the question doesn't mean it's in the wrong place.[/quote]
