This isn't how it works. A raise comes if they feel more compensation is needed to entice loyalty from an excellent employee. If you are already making the same/more than you would make by switching families, then the raise isn't needed, no matter how awesome you are. If you think you can make more elsewhere, then by all means, change positions. But they don't owe you a raise above the top of the market simply because you are good.[/quote] I guess that is true. If you are getting a lot of demand, then you are worth more. If not, you have your answer.[/quote]
