Listen to yourself. Your first argument is that it's only three, vs five, paid weeks off. Next, you think that all this paid free time should be run by you, first, because, apparently, you think you get to dictate bonuses. Good luck with that.

Your final, and most hilarious argument, is that it's so "lame" not to give you more money on top of an extra three weeks paid vacation. Why? Because you want it. Cue the tiny violins.

You completely missed my points, but I see that you will not hear reason, so I won't waste my time explaining further. If you think it's acceptable to give something as a gift, simply because you aren't using it, you go for it. I hope you get lots of regifted/discarded/after-thought gifts this year! You're out of your mind.  I would be THRILLED to have 3 extra weeks of paid vacation.  It doesn't matter what my boss wants or doesn't want to do with that time -what matters is that I get to do whatever I want and get paid for it.[/quote]
