There's no reason to keep around an employee who doesn't serve your needs. Offer her Fridays, if she refuses, look for a one day nanny, and if that doesn't work out, let nanny know you will need to let her go and find someone for 5 days. No hard feelings, this is not about performance, offer a reference, etc. [/quote]
