+1.  Nannies who think childcare involves nothing more than "watching" the children and being on call for the 4 hours that most babies and toddlers nap are really just babysitters with a prima donna complex.  Kids are messy.  Taking care of them on a full time basis involves laundry, baths, mopping up thrown food, keeping toys and highchairs etc. sanitized, preparing meals and sometimes food shopping and doctors appointments.  Most mature, professional nannies know this. [/quote]
