My point is, that you have no way of knowing who is a nanny, MB, or simply some Internet asshole with too much time. Saying "I'm a nanny/MB doesn't make it true. You also don't know how many people are posting. There is one prolific poster that has shown herself to be a nut job and I'm sure many of the posts you reference can be attributed to her. Beyond that, people on this site in general are not on their best behavior, so enough with the "nannies are low class/stupid/entitled/whatever the insult of the day is", because a couple of idiots do not represent us all. I agree with you 100% that no one should make assumptions about all nannies based on what a few people (maybe not even nannies) post on this website.  The same goes for MBs too.  However, the post you were referring to didn't say nannies are low class.  It said the nannies who posted comments on this thread were low class.  Big difference. [/quote]

You're right, that particular comment was not directed at nannies in general, but so many of them are and its very grating. I use this site to look for jobs, so I don't appreciate the nannies representing me poorly, or the sweeping generalizations as though we are all the same. [/quote]
