Then you ask, once, and you don't continue to press her and threaten that "you'll get to the bottom of it" and that she should "come clean". The word choice was extremely accusatory, especially for someone you "trust to watch your children", and who has never in the past given you reason not to trust her. I'd be offended as well OP, and the lack of apology would completely change how I felt about my bosses and my job. I really would have no choice to quietly start a job search, as I'd be incredibly uncomfortable continuing to work for them. [/quote]
