You can wash a car seat cover on gentle in the washer except a rare few.  You cannot wash the straps but you can clean them.  Only one of our seats is set up so you cannot wash the headrest as it does not come off but the covers come off as they are meant to be washed.  If you are paid above market rate and do not know this, then you need to educate yourself.[/quote]

This is ridiculous. I'm an MB and it is NOT the nannies job to wash their car seat. If the child threw up in it while in the nannies car, then yes, she could clean it but under no circumstances should they have put that seat in her car to begin with. That's disgusting. [/quote]
