You had JUST started working for them. [/quote] OP here- I trained for a month with their last nanny (of 3 years) and she told me not to expect anything. Also the chatty housekeepers say they are paid well, but have never received a bonus or raise. I do love this family, and if I want to stay with them I should learn to accept their verbal appreciation. If only I had a $ every time they said "Thank you"...:).[/quote]
