[/quote] IMO, while both of those cars are nice "luxury" cars, they aren't really too ostentatious. They are nice, reliable and safe cars and if her husband has worked hard enough and can afford to buy his wife one, then I say good for them. However, if you really, honestly, feel uncomfortable about it then that's your decision to make. You may want to consider, however, how you will feel if they do get in an accident in the small, not so safe car when they could have been in the suv. [/quote]
