PP is saying that you can't necessarily tell whether someone can afford you based on the house she lives in or on her employment status. She may live in a modest apartment to ensure adequate cash flow for her child's needs. Some graduate students get paid a salary to study and perform research or teaching duties. She may have a trust fund or receive alimony payments. You just don't know, so you need to trust that she wouldn't hire someone she couldn't afford to pay. Honestly, the OP here sounds way to immature for overnight babysitting under any circumstances. She can't get to sleep without her boyfriend? C'mon now. [/quote]
