So...[/quote] That's why I like the suggestion of saying it will probably happen soon. That way the parents can either just hear that and "see it for the first time" themselves, or if they want to know and would rather have the nanny say that yes, it has already happened, they can then ask "Has she already walked, or is she really just showing all the signs of it happening soon?". If I left it vague but the parents asked specifically about it further, I would assume they just really wanted to know and wouldn't be hurt by it, and I would then tell them so.[/quote]
