If your budget is $4100 a month including taxes and health insurance you need to lower your rate. $925 a week eats up almost all of your budget before your share of taxes or health insurance.
If she lowers the rate she will not find someone prepared to handle what she's asking for. Less than $17/hour for 3 kids is NOT a rate that attracts the more skilled nannies. There are tons of 50 hour jobs in the DC area paying a market rate, so yeah $925/week isn't as hard to find as you think for a nanny with a great job history and background. There are 50 hour nanny shares all over the area offering $18+OT. $17 will get you someone OP, especially if you're contributing to health care, but the person may require some grooming or she may be exceptional but young and needs someone to give her a chance. Keep an open mind.
