+1! Last week MB came home early all 5 days (and then just hung around with us), and took off on Friday...so she could go see a movie. I know I am being paid to be here, but really, when you CLEARLY don't need me, would it be such a hassle to let me go early? [/quote]

I think I can top it. BOTH of my employers took off all of last week, and sat around playing video games. I don't begrudge them their time off, but its really annoying to be treated like a commodity they paid for and just HAVE to get their money's worth.  Come Friday the baby ended up taking a late nap and we all knew that he likely wouldn't wake up before it was time for me to leave. I had finished all of my tasks, cleaned the play room and they continued to sit at their computers in the same room. This goes on for nearly an hour. 15 minutes before I am due to be off, I hear a whispered conversation about whether they should let me go. Mom says, "but he might wake up!" And they make me wait out the last 15 minutes. By far their pettiest moment. [/quote]

That's just ridiculous! They couldn't let you go even the last 15 minutes? If their child were to wake up, they couldn't take care of their own child for that 15 minutes?[/quote]
