Haha, nooo. I have to agree with OP on this one. Nannies are over sensitive, with huge egos, and are always taking offence to things. I know employers do it too, but I've seen it a HECK of alot more in the nanny community then anywhere else.

PP here.[b] I'm POSITIVE I am not the only one who would agree the nannies on here act like they are entitled. I actually AM a nanny, which is why the nannies who post here make me so bitter and pissed off. [/b]If you're getting defensive, it's clearly because you are the exact type of nanny I was referencing. My job is to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate/stimulating environment for my charge and I do just that...without expecting the world from my bosses. They find lots of ways to thank me and I appreciate it, but I don't post online about how much my bosses suck if my bonus was less than I thought I deserved. You all need to just get a clue. You work for these people, they give you a paycheck. They don't OWE you any more than that. Anything else is a perk that you should be appreciative of, not pissed off if you don't get it. And lastly, as I've said before...if you're so unhappy, quit your job and stop bitching about it.[/quote]
