OP, this is how you do it! Don't let this go. Ask her so you don't resent it. It wont be awkward, if anything it'll be awkward for her. And there's no problem with sending it through a text if it'll make you more comfortable. If I get into a situation where I need to confront someone I will practice so I am confident in what I'm saying. Give it a try and find the words that work for you.

Something like "Hello ____, I would like to speak to you for a moment about my paycheck, please call me when you get a moment" -- So atleast she'll have a heads up so you dont feel like you're catching her off guard.. Or you can just say what you need to say in the text and wait for a response. Lay out all the hours and walk her through it so theres no confusion.
