I am an introvert, not super perky, and very dry and witty. Immediately people think "you're an introvert? how are you good with kids?" Here is the thing: I LOVE KIDS! I just have a dislike for people in general. They're annoying. I don't want to hear about how much money you saved buying jeans at American Eagle or about your "OMG BEST SMOOTHIE EVER, GIRL!" Stop talking to me until you have something intelligent or hilarious to add to the conversation.

My problem is when I have to do group outings with other nannies- umm, no. I don't want to gush and giggle for three hours with you. No, we're not best friends. No, I don't "love ya girly!" either. And I DEFINITELY don't want to meet you for drinks during the weekend, so stop asking. I am GREAT with the kids, and they adore me. There is a difference between dry, sassy, and witty AND good with kids....and being Mary freaking Sunshine.  [/quote]
