I sometimes eat junk in front of the baby, but I never eat do in front of the 3 year old because I know that he will want some! To be honest I usually eat during naptime because I am so busy supervising lunch/ feeding the baby at lunch time.

I think that asking your nanny to only eat when the baby is in bed is a little over the top. Sometimes I have done so much running around, (pushing two kids up hill / playing at the park) that i am starving by 11.45, however I just eat with the kids. I think asking her only to eat in the kitchen is reasonable, because you won't want your child to eat anywhere but there and also your child will be crawling soon and picking up everything with in reach

I would never offer or allow my charges to eat my junk food. I understand that my junk food is bad for my body and am making an informed decision. [/quote]
