In addition to teaching, I have extensive childcare experience with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children:
- Nannied 4 days/week in college for a family with a 5-month-old and a neurodivergent 3-year-old
- Worked as a live-in au pair in Madrid for a 4-year-old
- Ran a full-day English immersion classroom for eight children ages 2 months–7 years and created my own Montessori-style materials
- Tutored a wide range of ages, from enrichment work with a gifted preschooler to SAT prep
- Happy to provide references

I’m particularly strong with children who benefit from structure, creativity, emotional attunement, language-rich play, reading/writing/math support, executive-functioning support, low/no screens, and steady daily rhythms. You can expect predictable routines, engaged play, clear communication, and thoughtful support for each child’s temperament, interests, and needs.

Ideal fit: a family looking for a highly experienced, developmentally informed summer nanny and/or educational enrichment support rather than standard babysitting.

I’m especially interested in DC families where outings can be walkable, Metro-accessible, or neighborhood-based. I have a valid driver’s license, but I’m looking for a position that doesn’t require driving children.
